Malship (Ceylon) Limited is a licensed Shipping Agency Company, which evolved as successor to Maldive National Trading Corporation (MNTC); incorporated in 1949, servicing over 50 plus Vessels at its peak.

In 1972, following changes to ownership laws in Sri Lanka, Malship (Ceylon) Limited was formed as a local entity, to perform the Agency functions for the vessels owned and managed under the Maldivian flag.

Over the past several decades, Malship (Ceylon) Limited has expanded its activities by representing many International Shipping lines in the Conventional and Container Shipping trade, as well as Agency services to a range of vessel types and operators visiting Sri Lanka.
